Lisa Andrade is a Diplomate of
Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. She has 22 years of experience in the medical field, working much of this time at
UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles, CA. She is nationally certified through the National
Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).
Lisa received her Masters in Oriental Medicine degree from Samra University in
Los Angeles, CA. In 2001 she traveled to Beijing, China and underwent advanced training at China
Beijing International Acupuncture Training Center sponsored by the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine. She
attended lectures at the International Training Center in Beijing and treated patients in several of the
hospitals, including Dongzhimen Hospital and Beijing United Family Hospital, furthering her experience with
Post-Stroke and Bell's palsy patients, Internal Medicine and Women's Health.
Lisa employs the use of acupuncture, electro-acupuncture, herbal medicine, cupping, moxibustion, tuina/shiatsu, therapeutic massage and
exercise. Diet and lifestyle are also discussed. Lisa believes that it is imperative to educate the patient and give
them the tools to make healthy choices and better understand themselves.
Lisa still travels to Los Angeles to attend grand rounds at UCLA Collaborative Centers for Integrative Medicine along
with UCLA Center for East West Medicine . She is also a
practitioner and teacher in Shaolin Kungfu , which includes animal
styles, classical weapons as well as Tai Qi Chuan and Qigong, combining both the external and internal art.
Lisa relocated to Utah several years ago, her office is located in beautiful downtown Salt Lake City. She treats many medical
conditions with specialties in Fertility, Women's Health and Migraines.
